Asus has officially introduced new U Series ultra-slim laptop, called the Asus U46SV. The new model is design with ultra-slim, light and measures only an over one inch thick (28 mm).
The Asus U46SV ultra-slim laptop comes with a 2.3 GHz Core i5-2410M processor, 4/6GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 540M 1GB graphics card (Optimus support included), a 500GB hard drive, an 8x DVD writer, a 4-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, one USB 3.0 port, a HDMI output, and an 8-cell battery.
The Asus U46SV model released in Europe runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and can be found on pre-order at €779 (unit with 4GB of RAM) and €799 (6GB RAM version).
