ASUS has begun shipping their newest Ubuntu-Powered netbook ‘Asus Eee PC R011PX’ in Europe. Asus Eee PC R011PX has features a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) matt display, a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, runs Ubuntu 10.10 (Desktop Edition), and costs €209(about $298).

A Windows 7 version of Asus Eee PC is also available but it comes with an Atom N570 dual-core CPU, a 250GB hard drive, and a price tag of just under €250.
